Winter boating is cold, no question about it. After spending time on the water, either a day sail or a cruise to your destination, warming up with a hot drink is a must.
I always have coffee and tea on board the boat, but for winter boating it’s nice to have some other options available. A glass of red wine is always nice at anchor, but when you’re layered in sweaters with the furnace cranked you’re not always wanting a cold gin and tonic. Winter boating needs hot alcoholic drinks for happy hour!
Whether or not you have a go to favourite in the winter, here’s some great hot drinks you can think about trying.
