I love morning coffee time. That quiet part of the day where you can just sit almost cuddling your coffee, pondering your thoughts for the day. The only thing that can make morning coffee time better is fresh baking! While I do love baking from scratch on the boat, there is definitely a time and place for cheater baking.
The other year I discovered frozen cinnamon buns and croissants at Country Grocery. Always on the hunt for something new to try in the galley, I thought these could be a nice cheater way to have fresh baking for my morning sacred coffee time. These cinnamon buns and croissants were not a disappointment, either of these are a perfect pairing for my morning coffee. As boat freezer’s don’t always work as well as others, I have found that individually saran wrapping works best as they don’t seem to stay super frozen.
Regardless of if a bakery is in site, your sacred morning coffee time on the boat doesn’t need to suffer. Savour your next morning coffee on the boat with a fresh warm cinnamon bun or croissant!
