Go For a Walk and Explore the Beach
Take your tender to the dinghy dock and go for a lovely walk along the point, exploring the gorgeous beach along the trail. Galiano Island offers beautiful beaches, tidal lagoons, and more than 130 species of birds!
Dinner at Pilgrimme
Pilgrimme is a hidden gem on Galiano Island. It’s a short 20 minute walk up from the marina, specializing in coast, forest, farm to table dining on the former property of La Berengerie. It opened in 2014 and was named one of the top 10 new restaurants in Canada in 2015 (enRoute Magazine). The restaurant offers a cozy intimate dining experience in the forest that is unlike any other in the Gulf Islands.

Explore by Kayak
Hop in your kayak, or rent one from Galiano Kayak from the docks and paddle the shoreline. Kayaking allows an on the water view of Galiano Island’s gorgeous coast line and eco system.
Dinner at the Hummingbird
Your Montague Harbour stay is not complete without experiencing the Hummingbird Pub Bus. The pub bus is a unique experience unlike no other. The pub bus runs hourly in the summer during the evening, perfect for taking your tender to shore and heading to the pub for dinner and a game of pool. Dinner at the Hummingbird Pub is a great way to complete your stay at Montague Harbour.
